These terms cover your use of portsidecateringwi.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Catering itself is covered by a separate written agreement for your event. Nothing on this page replaces that agreement, and where the two differ, the event agreement governs.
Using the site
You may use this site to learn about our services and to get in touch. You may not use it to break the law, to interfere with how it runs, to attempt to gain access to parts of it that are not public, or to collect information about it or its visitors by automated means without our permission.
Our content
The text, photographs, menus, logos and design on this site belong to Portside Catering or to the photographers we work with, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You are welcome to share a link to any page. You may not copy, republish or use our photographs or copy for your own commercial purposes without written permission.
Quotes, proposals and bookings
Sending an inquiry through this site does not book an event, and it does not create a contract. Menus and any figures shown on the site are examples, and prices change with the season, the guest count, the venue and the service style.
A quote or proposal we send you is valid for the period stated on it. An event is confirmed only when we have agreed the details in writing and received any deposit set out in that agreement. Deposits, final guest count deadlines, payment terms and cancellation terms are set out in the event agreement rather than here.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
Please tell us about allergies and dietary requirements in writing before your event, and as early as you can. We will do everything reasonable to accommodate them.
Our food is prepared in kitchens that handle common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free from traces of an allergen, and we cannot accept responsibility for a reaction where a requirement was not told to us in writing in advance. If a guest has a severe allergy, please raise it with us directly so we can discuss what is possible.
Accuracy
We keep the site as accurate as we can, but it is published for general information. Dishes, availability and pricing change. Anything you rely on should be confirmed with us in writing.
Messages you ask us to send
If you opt in to text messages or emails, how we handle that is described in our Privacy Policy. You can stop them at any time.
Links and content from other companies
This site links to other websites and loads some content, such as our Instagram feed and our contact form, from other companies. We do not control those sites or that content, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimer and limits on liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, error free, or free of anything harmful, and to the extent the law allows we exclude warranties of every kind in connection with the site.
To the extent the law allows, Portside Catering is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, and our total liability in connection with the site is limited to one hundred dollars. This paragraph limits liability relating to the website. It does not limit our responsibility for catering we actually provide, which the event agreement covers, and it does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to this site or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Kenosha County, Wisconsin, and you agree to that venue.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
